SEKOU HAMER
Sekou Hamer is an actor, writer, musician, and filmmaker - committed to telling stories that explore identity, belonging, and what it means to be human.
Raised between Boston, East Providence, and Philadelphia, Sekou discovered early that stories could offer the sense of home he was often searching for. That realization sparked a lifelong pursuit of creating work that is emotionally honest, culturally grounded, and deeply human.
A graduate of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University, Sekou brings curiosity, vulnerability, and intention to every performance. Whether on stage, on screen, on paper, or from behind the camera, he is passionate about telling stories that help people feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
